Living in Prenzel'Berg
This modern apartment is located in the trendy Prenzlauer Berg, the district with the higher concentration of young people in whole Germany. In the area there are many bars, restaurants, small shops, big store. The historical building (about 100 years old) was recently fully renovated but it keeps its old flair. The apartment is located at the 4th floor and can be easily reached by an elevator. It was recently renovated and newly furnished, it is fully equipped and it suits for short and longer stays. There’s a modern TV, an high-speed flat-rate internet connection, a dish-washer and a washing-machine. The kitchen is fully operative, offering fridge with freezer, stove with exhaust hood, oven, water kettle, toaster, coffee machine, espresso cooker and all possible table & cook ware. Basic cooking ingredients, coffee and tea bags are provided to fully profit this beautiful practical kitchen.In the bedroom there is a double bed with a very comfortable high materass + a single bed with many pillows, that can be used as a sofa, too; 3 indipendent night-lamps can be appreciated before sleeping. The blue couch in the living room has sleeping function, being easy to be turned into a double bed. Extendable curtains in every room guarantee darkness in the morning. A few nice decorations on the walls are dedicated to the city of Berlin, with symbols and sightseeing, for an ideal stay in the German capitol.
The flat lies close to one of the most beautiful public park in Berlin, the Volkspark Friedrichshain, and at walking distance from Prenzlauer Berg’s hot spots, such as the Mauerpark flea market, Kollwitzplatz, the shopping street Kastanienallee, the amusement block „Kulturbrauerei“ and many more. Alexanderplatz is reachable in 3 stops of the tram M4; a stop of the „party-tram“ M10 is also very close, leading to the Mauerpark or to the famous area of Simon-Dach-Strasse in a few stops. A supermarket and bank just a few meters from the front door.
The registration to the authorities is possible (Anmeldung). If this will be requested, you will be asked by the authorities to pay a residential tax called GEZ for the apartment (issued with a personal specific number valid in all apartments in Germany where you will live; it is not anymore a tax related to television and radio).
No pets are allowed and smoking is forbidden, thank you for your understanding.
